Superb military portrait of ANTOINE FRANÇOIS EUGÈNE CANELLE DE LALOBBE. Signed. Born in 1815 and died in 1885. Staff officer, then Staff Lieutenant-Colonel; he also got the Legion of Honor. The portrait was painted by the French school in 1845 with charcoal and chalk, some signs of age-related wear, but nothing severe considering its age. Really very nice portrait and well done
