“Edita was a strange and enigmatic woman. I remember one night, Broglio, some of our friends, and I had gone for a walk around Valle Giulia. It was late, midnight, perhaps. Broglio had told us that he had left Edita at home. At a certain point, we heard a mysterious song coming from a tree near us; we drew closer and saw Edita perched on a large branch, singing a strange aria with her eyes fixed on the stars. Now, I wonder: how can one be at home and, at the same time, up a tree several kilometers away from Edita's house?”
