Edwin Deakin (British-American, 1838-1923) oil on canvas, 1918. Depicting flowers in a vase. It is signed and dated on verso.

Dimensions: 23 1/4 inches tall X 18 1/2 inches wide; 59.1 cm tall X 47 cm wide, the frame measures 29 3/4 inches tall X 25 1/4 inches wide; 75.6 cm tall X 64.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Painting seems to have been reattached to stretcher; a couple small spots of in-painting.

Provenance: From a collection in Gold River, California. Exhibited at Crocker Art Museum, 1983. Accompanied by a 1983 insurance appraisal from Crocker Art Museum.
