Egyptian Eye of Horus amulet and an antique charm
An Egyptian Eye of Horus amulet and an antique charm in the form of a mummy. The amulet, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, is carved from obsidian with nice original polish, 15 x 14 mm. The antique votive in the form of a mummy made from gilded brass with white inlay detailing the wrappings, L: 22 mm. Votives such as this were part of a 1920's era sarcophagus charm, in which the mummy was tucked inside. Ex Wiltshire, UK private collection.
