Egyptian Gold Snake Ring

Ptolemaic Period, 332-30 BC. A gold D-section slender serpentine body in six coils with looped tail and neck, broad discoid head with annulet eyes, notching and other detailing; discoid cell with granule collar and inset garnet cabochon.
