Late New Kingdom, 1550-1070 BC and later. A restrung necklace composed of oblate lapis lazuli beads interspersed with small fluted gold beads, nine bifacial lotus flower pendants and two later discoid gold beads with chequerboard design; modern clasp. 16.82 grams, 57cm (22 1/2"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired on the London art market in the 2000s; previously in a 1980s collection.
