Egyptian Polychrome Ptah Sokar Osiris Figure

probably 664-30 BCE, painted and gessoed carved wood figure wearing a crown of two ostrich feathers, sun disk and two horns, painted rectangular plinth with two openings, one is a fitted slot for figure and one probably for the mummified falcon figure of SoKar, both figure and plinth decorated with hieroglyphs, 30 in. (figure only), 18 in, length of stand, Provenance: Consignor acquired in Egypt, circa 1930s; Collection from an Important American Family
Condition Report: probably missing the falcon figure of Sokar, possibly repair to crown, vertical crack on back of figure, both pieces with surface losses and extensive wear
