Egyptian Yellow Jasper Mut Amulet
Late New Kingdom, 1550-1070 BC. A skilfully carved yellow jasper amulet depicting a vulture, the symbol of goddess Mut, standing on a rectangular base, large striated wings tucked against the feather-detailed body, bald head with incised detailing, fierce expression; loop to the back.
