An Egyptian scaraboid plaque with inscription on both sides, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, one side with drilled circles around a scrolled cruciform device and the opposing side with two stylized uraei (cobras). 17 x 13 mm. Drilled lengthwise for suspension, light mineral deposits. Ex collection of Lawrence Buchanan and Dr. Enrique von Kiguel, formed throughout the 1970's-80's.
