This painting was part of the series presented at the National Art Review “Dłużew 2019”, where it contributed to the artist's selection among the best young artists in Poland. Created during her Art High School years, it reflects an early fascination with how light can transform even the simplest arrangement.
Walnuts scattered across the table naturally lead the eye through the composition towards a bowl with a vivid pink interior, while a pear balances the scene with its warm colour and gentle form. Folded textiles, glass bottles and a metal surface create a sequence of different textures, each responding to light in its own way.
Loose, expressive brushstrokes are contrasted with the delicate transparency of the curtain, allowing the painting to feel both carefully observed and full of movement.
