Elvis Presley signature to back of a business card for Catherine Scates, Men's Furnishings at Julius Lewis Apparel in Memphis, Tennessee. Signature in blue ink. 3-1/2" long x 2" wide. Overall wear to card. PROVENANCE: From the collection of William Sanderson, star of television and movies including Bladerunner, Newhart, Lonesome Dove, Deadwood, and True Blood. Born and raised in Memphis, Sanderson attended multiple Elvis Presley concerts at the Overton Park Shell in 1955 and 1956. While frequenting the same places as Elvis in Memphis' burgeoning music scene during his teenage years, Sanderson became a part of young Elvis' enclave, joining touch football games, watching movies, and riding roller coasters.
