Elvis Presley's "Elvis: That's The Way it Is" Stage Worn Custom Made Solid 18K Yellow Gold Lion Head Ring W/LOA and Letter From Priscilla Presley - This lion head ring was custom made for Elvis Presley, who had it specially made by his Beverly Hills jeweler prior to filming the 1970 MGM documentary film, Elvis: That's The Way it Is. The ring is crafted of solid 18k yellow gold and has an ornate lion head motif with tsavorite garnet eyes and a red garnet in the mouth. This ring was worn by Elvis in the film during the rehearsal and the concert, and also for many months after. The ring comes with a letter of authenticity from Memphis Mafia member Richard Davis, who was Elvis' bodyguard and eventually became a wardrobe manager. The letter states in part, "Elvis was getting ready to film a movie called Elvis That's The Way It Is made by MGM studios so he wanted a special ring to wear for the movie. You can see Elvis wearing this ring during the rehearsal as well as the actual concert. He wore the ring for many months and then gave it to me because he knows how much I love lions".
