A Dictionary of Arts and Sciences by a Society of Gentlemen in Scotland, London: Printed for John Donaldson, 1773, three volumes, illustrated with one hundred and sixty copperplates, some of which fold-out and some have been hand-colored, an early edition of the famous Encyclopaedia Britannica, the first edition being 1768, bound in full leather, five raised bands, morocco spine labels, elaborately gilt decorated spines, inner gilt dentelles, Provenance: Property from the Collection of Senator William Benton, Sold by the Helen Boley Trust
Condition Report: wear at the extremities, some boards starting, tops and bottoms of spines are worn otherwise good, some plate numbers out of sequence order and possibly missing some illustrations
