Description: The finely embroidered and painted image depicting the allegorical female figure of Hope standing on a shore holding a large anchor, in the sea beyond a three-masted ship flying the British "Red Ensign", in a black reverse-painted glass mat with gilt stars in the corners.

The frame overall 17 3/8 inch by 14 5/8 inches
