Provenance: Beautiful English Mochaware bowl with earthworm decoration, circa 1830.; This bowl is in the shape known as London shape, with a molded foot and a wide flaring shoulder. Two bands of sky blue border a central wide band in a mocha brown with an exceptional three color earthworm design, in shades of dark brown, white and a bright rust/orange.; Excellent condition, with two faint hairlines (approx. 2" and 1 1/2") that are visible on the inside, but barely if at all visible on the outside.; 6 1/2" diameter at the rim, 3 3/8" tall.
