Condition Report:
Light surface scratching and dirt throughout. There are a number of small losses to the framing edges, as well as some further scattered flakes of loss (approx. 1mm each) to the right of the sitter's head and chest (visible in the online image). There is an area of retouching to the very top and bottom of the sitter's wig, and this can be seen in natural light, and in the online image. A further area of retouching (approx. 5mm) can be seen in natural light to the very bottom of the sitter's sash - this is also visible online. Some light craquelure to the brown pigment. Unexamined out of glazed frame.

There is a small chip to the glaze (obverse) at '9 o'clock' (approx. 1cm), this is visible in the online image. Sticker residue and staining verso, otherwise wear is commensurate with age. Condition Report Disclaimer
