Laid to board. Scattered old restoration on the sitter's face, neck, and chest. Two large repaired holes in the background to the right of the sitter; and a third hole filled in with gesso in preparation for restoration (cr). Other filled-in losses along the lower edge. Shadows on the sitter's clothing reinforced. Surface scrapes.
