English sterling silver entrée dish with cover - London 1902, mark of WILLIAM HUTTON & SONS

of rectangular shape with cover, having rounded corners and using the shell motif to break up the straightforward gadroon border. It has a detachable bayonet-fit cast floral handle. Fully hallmarked London 1902-1903, silversmiths William Hutton & sons (Ref. Jackson’s p.70 - Culme vol.1 p.247, Culme vol.2 p.322).
