[ translate ]

Ernest Trova (American, 1927-2009). Liquitex on canvas painting titled "Study / Falling Manscape" depicting an abstract composition of white, red, and blue, 1967.

Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
Unframed; height: 18 in x width: 18 in. Framed; height: 18 1/2 in x width: 18 1/2 in.

Condition Report: The item is in good condition with no visible tears, losses, or creases. The surface is stable, and the color is bold and bright. To the lower left corner, there is a red paint mark, which appears to be original. To the lower left quadrant, there is an area with unidentified residue as shown in the listing image; however, when inspected under UV light, it did not appear to be a restoration. There is a minor undulation to the upper left corner. To the left along the upper margin, there is an area that shows the underlying canvas; it is difficult to discern if it is original or a paint loss. Along the verso, there are pencil marks that do not affect the verso. Very light wear to the frame. No visible sign of restoration under UV light.
