Erte 1892-1990 PEACE LE Bronze Statue SIGNED w/COA

Erte (Romain de Tirtoff) (Russian French, 1892-1990). A limited edition cold painted bronze statue executed in the Art Deco style. Titled "Peace," produced circa 1984. A figural work depicting an abstract female figure in flowing gown and cape, modeled in the motif of Columbia, Marianne, Britannia, and similar personifications, breaking a sword into two pieces, crowned with a dove and olive branch, surmounting an oblong base with relief hands clasped in friendship. Signed Erte to back top of base. Edition number 80 of 500 with foundry marks stamped to back of base. Produced during Erte's lifetime. Presented on an oblong base. Accompanied with COA Certificate of Authenticity.

Dimensions: 26.5 X 12 X 6 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear and patina. Estate fresh to the market.
