American Federal Inlaid Mahogany Bow Front Chest, early 19th c., with parquetry inlaid top edge, four graduated beaded edge drawers, each with three inlaid contrasting figured wood panels surrounded by string inlay, shield form lock escutcheons (no key) and oval drop bail pull handles, parquetry band surrounding the scalloped apron, set on splayed bracket feet, 36" high, 35 1/8" x 21". Refinished, small stain to top surface, repair to interior base of third drawer.
