Condition Report: The canvas is original. The paint layer appears stable. Ultraviolet blacklight examination reveals some scattered retouches in the background around the hay wagon. In the upper left and upper right corners (the darkened clouds) suggest under blacklight that this area was painted at a later time, or was restored. The verso exhibits a large wax patch, which does not seem to correspond with any damage on the front side, which would be left of the hay wagon, above the horizon. Contained in an attractive gilt frame in average condition.
