FINE PRE WAR BOXED COLT OFFICERS MODEL .22 TARGET

SERIAL 182266". CALIBER .22 LONG RIFLE. MADE IN 1938. Some of the finest Colts were produced just before the war. This is a typical hand fitted Officers Model target in the scarcer .22 caliber that features Colt factory blue finish, target sights, six shot, double action, checkered trigger & back strap with checkered walnut Colt medallion grips. Condition. There is some light muzzle wear along with some high edge cylinder wear and a light drag line only. Strong 98% original factory finish remains. The action is as smooth as butter. Grips are excellent and fit correctly. Bore is near mint. Comes in the original box , no readable number on bottom but does not appear to have been erased. Box is worn on edges with some tape but still has most of the correct end label with Patridge front sight sticker, Target and blue end label. C&R
