FINE PRE WAR COMMERCIAL MAUSER SPORTING RIFLE

Serial #1034. Barrel length 23". Caliber 8mm. Great example of a WWII era factory built sporter. Features a full round barrel, half stock, checkered round knob pistol grip walnut stock with roll-over cheek piece, steel butt-plate, sling eyes, double set triggers, two leaf folding rear sight. There is some light engraving on frame and floor plate. Barrel retains about 95% re-applied blue. The floor-plate is the same. Stocks are excellent with oil finish and sharp checkering and expertly repaired chip at toe. Round bolt knob. Rifling is sharp. This is a really sharp factory sporter . C&R
