FINE STEVENS MODEL 44 SINGLE SHOT .22 RIFLE

SERIAL 2652. BARREL 26". CALIBER .22 RIMFIRE. Features an octagon to round blued barrel, case color frame with walnut stock and fore-arm. Barrel has a Beach style folding front sight. The rear sight slot has a scope base with second base at breech. Barrel retains about 85% factory blue finish blending with soft patina and sharp legends. Frame has traces of case color with sharp screw heads. Stocks are excellent. Action is fine and bore is sharp. Tang screws are missing. This is a nice Stevens. C&R
