FIVE SATSUMA COVERED BOXES. Comprising five finely decorated satsuma boxes, all but one also decorated in the interior and including one spectacular oval box with samurai and each profusely marked on underside as shown. Greatest height 5 inches (13 cm).

Condition Report: Overall each piece is in average to good condition. Ultraviolet black light examination reveals no restoration or repairs. There is a small rim flake on the covered box (lower right), box on lower left with very tiny rim chip, box at upper right with chip on rim. All of the pieces would improve if cleaned, due to the buildup of dirt on surface.
