Le panneau de l’œuvre est très bombé, il est doté au dos de renforts de bois le long des jonctions des planches. On observe de nombreuses fissures du bois et une perte de matière, dont une plus importante d’environ 30cm en bas à droite.
La couche picturale est dans un état relativement bon. On remarque une perte de matière et des soulèvements au niveau des fissures.
A la lampe UV
On ne relève pas de retouches visibles.
Vendu dans un cadre en bois doré.
Veuillez noter que Sotheby’s ne garantit pas l’état des cadres.
Condition report:
The panel is very rounded with wooden clips on the reverse along the planks’ junctions. Many cracks can be observed, as well as a paint loss, and a larger one of circa 30cm lower right.
The painted surface seems to be in a relatively good condition. We can notice a paint loss and some uplifts around the cracks.
Under UV light
The varnish layer does not seem to show any retouching.
Offered with a giltwood frame.
