Description: French modernist desk lamp made in the 1930's by PIROUET, a lamp making company from France which created a line of practical and modern looking art deco line of desk lamp reflecting the desire for simple good design of the 1930's.Jean Chavanis is credited as the designer ( 1929 being the first edition ), this model is one of the simplest design without motive on the base or reflector ,the articulation is made so you can turn on a wide angle the different part without stress to the wire insuring a safe use.
Size H.12 to 15 depending on angle , reflector 7 x 3.5 , good antique condition ,there is some scratches and nick from normal use , rewired with American socket , very small dent on the base next the wire exit.
