FRENCH MODERNIST ARMCHAIRS GUARICHE MOTTE MORTIER model 642 by Steiner Armchair born of the collaboration of Pierre Guariche , Joseph Andre Motte and Michel Mortier under the name ARP 1954-1957. Their mentor Marcel Gascoin was an inspiration for a lot of young designer like them in their understanding of the social implication of the UAM movement ( Le Corbusier and Mallet-Steven founder) .It is a variation of the pair of low chairs Model 642 by A.R.P (Plastic Searches Studio) (1953-1957) Steiner edition - 1955/1956 . Wood ebonized frame with leather upholstery . The wood arm have an interesting geometric motive really unique. Size H.36 x L.27.5 x D.20 , recently refinished with new leathers
