French Napoleonic War, Heavy Cavalry "Cuirassier" Enlisted / NCO's Saber Model AN XI. Heavy, double fullered straight blade. Triple inspection marks stamped near the ricasso, including: "K" with crown of J.I. Krantz, inspector, (March 1812 to August 1814) ; "B" with wrapped leaves of J.G. Bick, quality control First Class (1812 to May 1815) and "L" for F.L. Lobstein, Supervisor (June 1811 - July 1821). Heavy brass hilt and ferrule with 4 branch guard. Leather covered wood grip. Missing the twisted wire. No scabbard. Blade Length: 35" | Total Length: 41.3/4"
Condition Report: Very good. Loose guard. Heavy wear on the hilt and loss of gilt.
