Condition Report: Overall good condition, the painting appears to have been relined, probably in the 1920's. the paint surface appears stable, with no signs of losses or lifting. Close examination does not reveal any readily evident restoration or repairs. Ultraviolet black light examination is inconclusive due to the thick yellow varnish coat. We believe the painting would brighten if cleaned. Contained in a gilt wood frame in average condition with some gilt and plaster loss on right edge.
