FRENCH VICTORIAN COTTON BEDCOVER - Cotton - Late 19th century

We have had these superb bedcovers before and they always sell so well for the simple reason that they are versatile and can be used not just as a bedspread, but also as a table cloth in the right setting, or just a throw over on a sofa, all depending on your interior or even as a curtain in the right setting with a unusual tieback to create the right effect. It is is mint condition and the "pompoms" are very generously crocheted The design of course is so very French. . I took the photos this morning when daybreak just arrived and it gives the scene a very pleasant romantic ambiance. A beautiful piece to bid on.
