FRENCH VICTORIAN DAMASK LINEN SERVIETTES (5) - Linen - Early 20th century

5 very pleasant damask linen serviettes. We made the 5 up with another serviette as it has the same initials C. R. or G. C. ( difficult to determine) The damask design is simple with small squares and in between the square sits another square sits a variant which gives it altogether a softer look; This design is very French and is to be found on a lot of French table linen. . The initials though are sympathetically embroidered with small flowers above the initials. For the single one please see the photo.
