FRENCH VICTORIAN PILLOW CASES (2) - Cotton - Early 20th century
This is a very good pair of cotton pillow cases. The borders have been crocheted in very fine cotton and almost looks like lace. Although it is a pair they have different monograms. One is a K. and the other B. K. . and I guess they were embroidered as a wedding gift to newly weds and each had their own. Monogram. A little unusual ,but the initials are beautifully executed on to the cotton. They are both in excellent condition and by the looks of it left in the armoire for " a rainy day".
