FRENCH VICTORIAN TABLE LINEN - Cotton - Early 20th century

A very good cotton damask table linen which comes from own collection. The dimensions of 2m35 by 2M35 are ideal for either a rectangular table or a round table as length and width are identical. The pattern is unusual with squares which are linked together on the entire cloth. Inside the squares is a posy of 4 leaves. The border is beautifully done with 7 satin bands followed with another square and then 2 further satin stripes followed by a rectangular piece and finished with a further satin stripe. The beauty of this table linen is depending from where you see the sheet the design will reverse and make the opposite design in a different shade of white. PLEASE NOTE: There have been 3 old small repairs and please study photos.
