Ferrari - 328 GTS - 1986

Purchased by the current owner in 2021 from an elderly Ferrari enthusiast, it was in good original condition and was put back on the road with a conservative restoration of the bodywork and a complete mechanical service. The car was already in very good condition, it was kept unused in the garage because the elderly owner could no longer use it. As soon as it was purchased, the interior was restored, which was completely original but in need of cleaning. Fortunately, the leather and carpets were merely dirty but had no defects or tears, and a complete detailing was carried out with excellent results. Currently the interior is completely original, including the carpets, and in competition condition. The bodywork, mostly with its original varnish, presented defects and traces of age. It was therefore decided to carry out a conservative restoration by fully re-varnishing the front and one side. The vehicle unfortunately had a chip on the windscreen that could not be repaired, it was replaced with an identical glass by an elderly Ferrari body shop mechanic, the original windscreen was kept. The bodywork is currently in splendid condition, shiny, homogeneous and without any aesthetic defects. The mechanics have always been serviced in Turin, first through the official network and then by the famous Ferrari mechanic Sergio Rossi. In October 2021, a general overhaul including timing belts and clutch was carried out by brand specialists, and the tyres were replaced. The receipt of the recent service is available. Stunning Ferrari 328 GTS, flawless varnish, spectacular interior and mechanics ready for any journey. It is one of the very few 328s produced with a dark brown dashboard and brown carpets; unfortunately, the parent company has no official production figures but maintains that probably only a few dozen left Maranello with this combination; in addition to the rarity, it is much more elegant than the normal black dashboard. The car has original number plate and registration, original car radio with manual, Ferrari service booklet, tool bag and keys, official brochure and car cover.
