Magnificent and very unique Ferrari 512 BB with a demonstrable mileage of only 16,317 KM!

. This Ferrari 512 has been in the possession of one family for more than 40 years and was bought in 1979 by René Herzog, then professional racing driver and collector. The Ferrari has therefore always been maintained at the best technical level and is in absolute top condition!

. The original and very rare Conolly beige leather interior with Daytona seats is in mint condition. The 5-litre, 12-cylinder boxer engine runs and sounds great. It concerns the most sought-after carburettor version of which only 929 copies were produced.

. Herzog drove professionally in the Touring Car Championship (predecessor of the current DTM) in the 1960s-80s.

. Among other things, the world Championship sports car with several Ferraris 512 BB M and later during International classic car races with the Ferrari GTO, Ferrari SWB and Shelby Mustang. In 1971, Herzog participated with Herbert Müller in the sports car championship in a Ferrari 512 M. In 1979, he bought this Ferrari 512BB, the street version of the 512 M, to drive to the races.

. Commissioned by Herzog, the car was modified by Corse Clienti, Ferrari's special department for VIP customers and drivers. The adaptations included among other things larger wheels, wider bodywork and a sports exhaust.

. After 35 years, Rene Herzog sold the vehicle within the family to his cousin in 2014, the Ferrari remained in Switzerland and went in April 2017 to Germany, and thus moved to the EU.

. This 512 BB has air conditioning and cigarette lighter/ashtray, but is indeed a non-smoking vehicle.

. The Ferrari is technically in an absolute excellent condition, the interior is as good as new.

. In 2011/12, the mileage was 016,013, at this mileage the last major maintenance was done including replacement of the timing belt plus some minor restoration work for an amount of almost 40,000 Swiss francs.

. The Ferrari is damage-free, non-smoking and still has a German registration. All modifications have been approved by TÜV (German MOT) , documentation is available.
