Up for auction: A Ferrari Mondial Transversale 3. 4 l V8 from the first owner. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a first-hand Ferrari Mondial T. The Ferrari Mondial 8 was created by Pininfarina in 1980, it has a transverse V8 engine that delivers 214 hp. The engine and the suspension of the Mondial were gradually improved in the course of its 13-year production period. Starting with the original 3. 0 l V8 engine, the Mondial Quattrovalvole was manufactured from 1982 to 1985, after which the 3. 2 l Mondial was manufactured from 1985 to 1989, and, finally, the Mondial T model with its 3. 4 l V8 engine left the factory from 1989 to 1993. The “T” stands for the Italian term “transversale” - meaning “transverse” - indicating that the engine was now no longer mounted longitudinally, but transversely. Essentially, this actually makes the Mondial T 3. 4 the first model of a completely new generation of V8 Ferraris. Even before the 348 appeared, all of its key components could already be found in the Mondial T. Thus, for example, the new engine and the new transmission of the Mondial T were mounted inside a robust subframe, which also supported the new wheel suspension, just like in the 348. Moreover, the Mondial T was equipped with dry-sump lubrication with a separate oil cooler. This vehicle comes from its first owner and was originally ordered at the Ferrari dealership Mellin Sportwagen Gmb. H in Berlin, Germany. All documents are included.
