Wishing flask in the form of a snake with rings.
Majolica painted in a delicate light green colour with parallel lines in manganese brown; it was used on Christmas Eve and meant the custom of preparing a dish typical of the festive occasion: the capitone. It is therefore a majolica, in this case of great elegance, worthy of an elite table.
Ø cm.20; h. m. 12. Cond: good; small part of a ring missing.
Central Italy, 18th century
