Fiat - 124 Spider 2000 Pininfarina- 1981

Special driving in your own country this summer with a Fiat 124 Spider 2000 convertible Pininfarina AUTOMATIC. This is a Spider from 1981, a 2. 0 engine with injection was mounted instead of an engine with lower cc. Fiat removed the Spider from its range in the autumn of 1981, the car was produced in the Pininfarina factory until the summer of 1985. This model has a 2L injection engine with 105 hp. The car was imported from California in 1995 by V. Rouwendaal Automobiles CV. The owner drove it until 2018 (for 23 years) until it was sold to us. The car is completely original and has a great beige interior and soft top. The interior is finished with a wooden dashboard and beautiful gauges. It’s a nice car to see in combination with the blue colour. All the rubbers are still in good condition and the tyres have good profile. The bottom and wheel arches were completely treated with Tectyl in 2019. The 2L engine has a (unique, almost impossible to find) automatic gearbox, it shifts well through all gears. The maintenance booklets are included (from 1988) just like the shop manual from the USA. The original tool set is also included. The car has a few issues which could be addressed such as blisters in the paint on the right front quarter panel. It’s not really noticeable and not annoying. A small piece of plastic has snapped off the soft top on the right, there’s minor unevenness but it’s not bothersome either. The dashboard has a crack, this can not be seen from a sitting position or from the outside. A lot of maintenance was done in 2019: - New windscreen wipers. - New side mirror. - Both front seats restored. - New Pininfarinas logos on the sides. - New distribution head. - New battery. - New upholstery on the inside (mats and carpet) - Soft top mechanism updated. - Chrome trim. - A spot on the bottom has been restored (before applying a new coat of Tectyl) - New rubber soft top.
