Fidelio Ponce De leon, Cuba (1895-1949). Oil on canvas painting with foam board on verso, signed lower right F. Ponce and mounted in gold tone frame. The painting was acquired by Pedro Pablo Mantilla and Maria Teresa Fernandez de Mantilla in Cuba in the 1940’s from the artist and brought in 1960 to the USA during which time they resided for some years in Rosemont, PA, after which it was later given to their niece, the late Mercy Aleman, residing in Coral Gables, FL who gave it to her daughter who is the current owner that has consigned it to auction. Comes with affidavit and restoration paperwork. Measures 25.75"H x 22.75"W framed; 24.5"H x 21.5"W visual. Condition report: good condition, please see photos.
