Biscuit porcelain statue, Demeter goddess of harvest, 19th century. Family piece that has been in our possession for several generations. Sculpture was made in Germany. Marked 856\\1. Unique image, 1 print run. The story goes that there is still a male edition, but it was lost in the 2nd WORLD War. The sculpture is a family possession, from a relative whom received it as a gift on her 12th birthday in 1945, when she was employed as a maid with a prominent family from Enschede. The exact names and transfer history is not available for publication due to law on privacy, but will be attached in writing and signed by me, descendant.
