An excellent Ming Dynasty cold painted gilt bronze figure of a seated Buddha, measuring 18½cm tall and weighing 1780g. holding a book in his left hand and a rosary of beads in his right hand. Tentative date: Circa 16th/17th century. Condition: Some wear commensurate with age and use. Small tear to the metal at the base, below the right elbow, see pictures. Otherwise good. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
