Condition Report:
Chair seat rail and original slip seat frame respectively marked I, the second chair rail marked V with period slip seat frame marked III. The chair marked I with three old paper labels on interior of front seat rail inscribed "For Helen & Edith Knowles / Chair from Knowles family for Helen & Edith Knowles Aug 21, 1914. / Mrs. Martha A Grant Wilmington, DEL". Chair I with multiple cracks and an old break and repair to the pierced splat at junction with crest rail. Chair marked V with an old break to the top of the splat at junction with crest rail and replaced side knee return on the the proper right side.
