Fleming (Ian) Moonraker, first edition, issue with "shoo" for "shoot" on page 10, signed by Henry Blofeld on front free endpaper, original boards, lettered in silver, spine ends a little bumped, dust-jacket, price-clipped, spine dulled with minor chipping to head, damp-staining to lower 1/3 of rear panel, light marking to upper panel, light rubbing to extremities, 8vo, 1955.
⁂ By far the rarer of the two issues. Henry Blofeld, cricket commentator and broadcaster, son of Thomas Robert Calthorpe Blofeld (1903-1986) who attended Eton with Fleming and who's name is thought to be the inspiration for the supervillain Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
