Ford - Mustang - 1973

[ translate ]

Ford Mustang Mach 1 (351cu) - 1973. In 1969, Ford unveiled the ultimate Mustang for the 1970s: the Mach 1. This performance version was equipped with a 5. 8L "Cleveland" 300 horsepower V8 engine, well known for its mythical sound and a 3-speed automatic gearbox. Same owner for five years, imported from the USA, inspected by an expert and a body shop. Engine, interior, and bodywork in very good condition, everything works. All original except Edelbrock intake manifold, 4V carburettor, and American Racing rims. The chassis is not painted or Blackson coated, so you can really see its condition, light surface rust normal for a 50-year-old vehicle, no deep or penetrating corrosion. Recent paintwork from before acquisition, inspected by a body shop. No accidents, no traces of repairs, putty or other. Maintenance: - Steering box, Mastervac and master brake cylinder, rear drum brake pistons (disc brakes in front) , all four shock absorbers and starter changed. - Engine, gearbox, brake fluid, cooling water, axle, crankcase seals, gearbox and rocker arm cover replaced, and wax thermostatic element changed. - Tyres: Cooper Cobra 215 in the front and 225 in the back, almost new. - Bumper restored to its original colour (black on delivery) . Front spoiler fitted. Automatic choke disconnected; it only worked when it wanted to but the system is still there if the future owner wants to put it back. This model was equipped with air conditioning but it was removed by the Americans. Finally, I ordered and put back a Ram Air system that it must have had before. A revision will be done before the sale. Sold with the inspection valid for five years because of the French collector's vehicle registration certificate.
