Ford - Mustang Fastback - 1966
This is a very nice Ford Mustang Fastback from 1966. The car was already fully restored at some point in time and is still in good condition. During the restoration, the car was also equipped with a 289 Cu engine, connected to an automatic transmission in this case. The bodywork is very neat. The car was painted in a beautiful 'Raven Black' colour. During the restoration, the interior was fully reupholstered as well. The car is upholstered with a red 'Deluxe' interior. The interior is in good condition, just like the exterior. The dashboard is equipped with the optional extra meters. The Mustang's technique was fully overhauled during the restoration. The car was equipped with the previously mentioned 'Hi. Po' 289 (4. 7 litres) V8 engine and the brakes and the chassis were adjusted to the extra power as well. The 289 delivers 275 hp at 6,000 rpm and 423 Newton metres at 3,400 rpm. The engine is connected to an automatic transmission with 3 gears. With this motorisation the Mustang is a fast car, even to today's standards. A 275 pk power engine which propels a car weighing only 1,100 kilos is simply a feast! There's just something about the appearance of a 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback. Everything seems to be just right in a way which Ford hasn't been able to emulate before that time or since then. In short, not only a wonderful Ford Mustang Fastback, but also one that is in good condition, both optically and technically, and is more than able to live up to its fast looks.
