Sculpture, wall fountain mask made of Botticino marble depicting Aeolus: God of the winds in Greek and Roman mythology. Large sized: (41. 3 cm x 36 cm) , beautifully sculpted, Aeolus is caught in the moment of blowing. Handcrafted. He keeps a copper straw between his protruding lips, from which the water flows out. Furrowed forehead and frowning gaze. His chubby cheeks swollen with air make it very nice and particular. The hollowed out back makes it light and easy to place. In good condition, with signs of ageing.
