Two Japanese ivory okimono, a stone mounted carved ivory model of an elephant and a carp, late 19th/early 20th century, the first okimono carved as a standing woman holding a flower, on a lotus shaped base, the second as three small figures climbing pierced rockwork, the elephant standing foresquare on a variegated stone plinth base, the miniature carp naturalistically carved, the first 13.5cm high
