second quarter 20th century, French, including two with engraved grounds decorated with gilt overlay, with Debans importers mark and Bergdorf-Goodman tags, h. 7" to 12", dia. 2-1/4" to 2-3/4", a vasiform example engraved with flowers and decorated with gilt-brass floral swags, h. 14", dia. 3-1/2", and a molded glass example with gilt-metal mounts, marked by Debans, h. 9", w. 3-1/2", d. 3-1/2".
Condition Report: Left to right in catalogue photo: TALL ENGRAVED: Excellent condition overall. Bulb flexible. Cord with small area of darkening at both ends. Scattered minor surface rubbing to gilt-metal sprayer components, primarily above the bulb. Interior clean (unmarked, NOT DEBANS). SQUARE: Overall excellent condition. Bulb headed by a silver-tone cover. Atomizer works signed around lower portion "Marcel Franck+++MADE IN FRANCE+BREVETES.G.O.G." and "MADE IN FRANCE" stamped underneath (NOT DEBANS). SMALL: Excellent condition. NARROW TAPERED: Excellent condition. Marked "DEBANS FRANCE". Retains the Bergdorf-Goodman retail tag.
